The Andy Nowacki Foundation Scholarship

Scholarships for those seeking to serve their communities as peace officers, firefighters, EMTs, or nurses, and who will be pursuing their education at a Northeast Ohio institution. This scholarship is awarded twice per year.

Qualifications:

Applicants must:
– Be pursuing careers as (1) first responders (Police, Firefighter, Paramedic, Emergency Medical Technician) or (2) nursing.

– Be attending Northeast Ohio (NEO) institutions geographically located in Lake, Cuyahoga, Lorain, Geauga, Ashtabula, Northern Summit and Northern Portage counties.

Applicants should intend to serve in Northeast Ohio post completion of their instruction for a number of years serving the community as Andy Nowacki did, continuing his legacy in the area.

Scholarship recipients are chosen based on a combination of community involvement, dedication to service, grade point average and strong moral character.

Scholarships are awarded to cover the tuition for police, fire and EMS/Paramedic training or nursing programs up to $5,000
