Scholarship for an adult female with financial need who resides in Lake, Geauga, or Ashtabula County and has experienced an interruption in post-high school education. Must be enrolled in an accredited institution for the next term at least part-time, working toward an associate or bachelor’s degree. One or more award(s) not totaling more than $1,000

The Western Reserve Junior Service League is a women’s organization serving Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula counties through grants and scholarships. The WRJSL provides grants to non-profit agencies through local fundraisers.
Qualifications:

Applicants Must:
– Be a U.S. Citizen

– Be a female resident of Lake, Geauga, or Ashtabula County

– Be out of high school for at least two years

– Have experienced an interruption in post-high school education

– Be enrolled in an accredited institution for the next term at least part-time and working toward an associate or bachelor’s degree

– Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 if currently attending school

– Demonstrate financial need

Current and former members of the Western Reserve Junior Service League (“WRJSL”) are welcome to apply.
