Harriet B. Storrs Scholarship

THE 2026 APPLICATION HAS CLOSED. Up to three scholarships open to graduating high school seniors who reside within the 44077 mailing zip code area and are working toward an associate or bachelor's degree. The student must demonstrate financial need, must be accepted at an accredited postsecondary school other than Lakeland Community College or Lake Erie College*, and must attend at least half-time during the academic year to be eligible. Minimum GPA: 2.5.

Qualifications:

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. The applicant must reside within the 44077 mailing zip code area and be a graduating senior from any high school*.

2. The applicant must be working toward an associate or bachelor’s degree.

3. Students must meet minimum grade point average of 2.5

4. The household income criteria: Taxable Income must not exceed $60,000 (Line 43 on the 2024 1040 form) or Adjusted Gross Income must not exceed $60,000 (Line 37 on the 2024 1040 form/Line 21 on 1040A form) or student must be Pell eligible.

5. Student must be accepted at an accredited postsecondary school other than Lakeland Community College or Lake Erie College (as stipulated in the grant documents) and must attend at least half-time during the academic year to be eligible.
