APPLICATION CLOSED FOR 2025. CHECK BACK FOR 2026 APPLICATION. Open to Northeast Ohio students in Grades 6 - 10. A 500-word-or-less essay contest asking students to reflect on bias they have witnessed, experienced, or learned about; then share what they have done or will do in response.

Top awards for Grades 6- 10:
1st Place winners in each grade: $400 cash prize
Runner Up in each grade: $100 cash prize
