THE 2026 APPLICATION HAS CLOSED. Scholarship for children of first responders (police officers, firefighters and paramedics) in the cities of Bay Village, North Olmsted, Westlake, Lakewood, Rocky River and Fairview Park, who are pursuing vocational or technical training or an undergraduate college degree at an accredited, nonprofit educational institution.

Qualifications:

Applicants must:

– Be a graduating/graduated child of a first responder (police officer, firefighter or paramedic) in the cities of Bay Village, North Olmsted, Westlake, Lakewood, Rocky River and Fairview Park

– Be Enrolling/enrolled full-time at an accredited nonprofit educational institution pursuing vocational or technical training or an undergraduate college degree

– Have a minimum 2.0 GPA

Scholarship awards are made on an evaluation of the student’s financial need, academic achievement, involvement in school and community activities and work experience.

$1,000 minimum
