THE 2026 APPLICATION HAS CLOSED. Two scholarships for students graduating from a Lake, Geauga, Portage, or Cuyahoga County High School planning to attend a four-year college/university in the State of Ohio and majoring in one of the following courses of study: Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Software Development/Design.

The award of this scholarship is managed by LEAF.

Qualifications:

Applicant must:
– Be a graduating high school senior from a Lake, Geauga, Portage, or Cuyahoga County High School

– Be a U. S. citizen or eligible noncitizen

– Have a minimum 3.0 weighted GPA (on a 4.0 scale)

– Plan to major in one of the following courses of study: Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science,
Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Development/Design

– Be attending a four-year college/university in the State of Ohio

Preference given to applicants attending the University of Akron, University of Cincinnati, Cleveland State University, Youngstown State University, University of Toledo, Case Western Reserve University, and the Ohio State University.
