APPLICATION CLOSED FOR 2025. CHECK BACK FOR 2026 APPLICATION. Scholarship open to college students, junior level and above, including graduate level, studying environmental science, conservation, natural history or nature-related subjects, including environmental law. Students must reside in OR attend college in one of the following counties in Ohio: Ashland, Carroll, Columbiana, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Holmes, Medina, Muskingham, Portage, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas or Wayne.

Qualifications:

The selection committee will base its decision for granting the scholarship on a combination of
the following:
– A completed application form

– A typed essay of 250 words or less telling us about yourself and how you expect to make a
difference in the environment.

– Grade point average (2.5 or better on a 4.0 scale)

– Three letters of recommendation

– Previous experiences showing dedication to caring for the environment.

Award Amount:
$750-$1,500
