Foundation for Geauga Parks Conservation Scholarship
Applicant must:
– Live in or go to school in Geauga County and will graduate in the spring of the current year.
– Have at least a cumulative GPA of 2.8
– Plan to attend an accredited two or four-year college or university, or a career or technical
education institution the following fall for studies in the areas that promote education, preservation,
conservation and appreciation of natural resources. Examples may be studies in natural sciences, biology,
park management and other similar disciplines. The college or university must be a public or private, notfor-profit institution from which an associate’s or bachelor’s degree can be received.
– Preference will be shown to students who have participated in extracurricular activities such as Envirothon, academic or community projects, volunteer services, clubs, fundraisers, internships or employment that promotes values aligned with the FGP mission.
