ABOUT FRANK JASON FEOLA, Ph.D.:
Frank Jason Feola lived an extraordinary life that was cut short by a very aggressive cancer, but he certainly left his mark in the minds and hearts of those with whom he came in contact. At the age of 10, he saved a little girl from drowning in a motel pool. As a high schooler and college student, he excelled in academics and was involved in drama, sports, show choir, and student leadership. A service trip to Immokalee Florida, inspired Frank to change his major from finance to education, and he became a high school English teacher. Full of talent, wonderful ideas, and a strong desire to improve society, Frank also pursued his master's degree, administrative license, and eventually his doctoral degree in urban education and policy. Professionally, his goals were to improve the educational experience of all students by creating professional development programs for teachers. The focus of these programs would help teachers understand the cultural backgrounds of their students and engage in personal reflection about how that knowledge could enhance their teaching.

As a man of faith, Frank tried to follow where God was leading him. He felt driven to help others grow in their relationship with Jesus, especially as he bravely fought to survive. Frank would tell you that it's more important to be a hard worker than to be smart, and it is important to learn something from the different steps of your journey, no matter the outcome. Frank touched many lives and continues to do so through his story of faith. His family is trying to carry on his legacy of helping others pursue their dreams and grow personally and professionally.
