Kids’ Chance of Ohio

College scholarships awarded to the children of Ohio workers who have been severely or fatally injured in a workplace-related accident.

Qualifications:

Applicant must:
– Be between the ages of 16 to 25 at the time of the application

– Be a dependent of a worker who has been declared to be killed, permanently and totally disabled as result of a work-related injury or occupational illness. The injury must have resulted in a decline in the family’s income.

– Demonstrate financial need to pay for postsecondary education

– Be accepted or planning to attend trade or vocational school; industrial/commercial training; a junior college or community college; an undergraduate program at a college or university; or in a graduate program at a university.

– Be pursuing a degree as a full-time student

$500 - $5,000
