Mad City Money Scholarship Contest
Cardinal Credit Union
Scholarship competition available to high school seniors enrolled in five Cardinal Credit Union partner high schools: Mentor, Eastlake North, Willoughby South, Lake Catholic, and Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin. The competition is held at the respective high school. Dates are mid- to late- March in 2026.
This program provides high school students with a unique, hands-on financial literacy experience through a real-world budgeting simulation. Students participate in teams of three, working together to navigate financial challenges and decision-making. In addition to the valuable lessons gained, each participating school will award $5,000 in scholarships to student winners.
