Resettled Refugee Visible Voice Scholarship

Scholarship for a resettled refugee who is a graduating high school senior in spring 2025 living in Cuyahoga County and who intends to enroll full-time at an accredited public or private not-for-profit institution. This award is renewable for up to 4 years.

Qualifications:

The applicant must:

– Be a resettled refugee living in Cuyahoga County

– Intend to enroll full-time at an accredited public or private not-for-profit institution, or a Pell Grant eligible vocational or trade school in Cuyahoga County

– Be a graduating high school senior

– Demonstrate a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA

– Provide high school transcript, his/her financial aid award letter, and a letter of recommendation from a teacher, case worker, or community leader

– Write a one-page essay on your resettlement experience to the United State, why you should be selected to receive this scholarship, and how you plan to use this education to give back to your community.
