Financial Aid Night Presentations

Each year, LEAF presents a Financial Aid Night for every partner high school geared towards senior students and their families. Here, students and families can learn about the different types of financial aid, the financial aid process, steps for completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), how aid is awarded to students by colleges and universities, and how to appeal for additional aid.

Check with your school counselor’s office to learn when LEAF’s Fall 2024 Financial Aid Night will be offered at your high school.

FAFSA Filing Nights

Select high schools also offer FAFSA Filing Nights where students and families can get guidance from LEAF Advisors while filing their FAFSA on site, typically in the high school’s media center or computer lab.

Often times, our partner schools ask us to talk with students about postsecondary planning topics in the classrooms or larger group settings. Whether we are discussing career exploration resources, finding a best-fit college, or the basics of funding an education, our advisors are prepared to work with students at all grade levels to help them put their future plans in motion.
