LEAF-MANAGED SCHOLARSHIPS
LEAF works with local scholarship providers to administer the award of scholarships each year. We appreciate our scholarship sponsors for their generosity in helping our students fund their postsecondary education.
Below are the scholarships offered for the 2026-27 academic year.
ABB Inc. Engineering Scholarship
$1,250, non-renewable (two available) | Application deadline 3/31/26
Scholarships for high school seniors graduating from a Lake, Geauga, Portage, or Cuyahoga County high school and attending a four-year college/university in the State of Ohio. The applicant must be planning to major in Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Software Development/Design.
Frank Jason Feola, Ph.D. Legacy Scholarship
$500, renewable | 2026 Application deadline 3/31/26
Scholarship for a graduating senior from a Lake, Geauga, or Cuyahoga County high school, or homeschooled. Must be a U.S. citizen, have a minimum 2.0 GPA, and be enrolled in a two- or four-year accredited institution or accredited vocational/technical school.
Frank Jason Feola, Ph.D. Legacy Scholarship Renewal
$500 | 2026 Application deadline 8/1/26
This scholarship renewal is for previously-awarded recipients of the Frank Jason Feola, Ph.D. Legacy Scholarship.
Harriet B. Storrs Scholarship
$3,500 maximum, renewable (up to three available) | 2026 Application deadline 3/31/26
Scholarship for graduating high school seniors who reside in the 44077 zip code area. Applicants must be working toward an associate or bachelor’s degree, have a minimum GPA of 2.5, meet household income criteria, be accepted at an accredited postsecondary school other than Lakeland Community College or Lake Erie College (as stipulated in the grant documents), and be enrolled at least half-time.
Harriet B. Storrs Scholarship Renewal

This scholarship renewal is for previously-awarded recipients of the Harriet B. Storrs Scholarship.
Lakeland Area Counselors Assn (LACA) Scholarship
$500, non-renewable (two available) | 2026 Application deadline 3/31/26
Scholarships for high school seniors graduating from an Ashtabula, Lake, or Geauga County high school with a current LACA member employed by the school district. (Check with your school counselor.) Minimum 2.5 GPA. Must be enrolling in a certificate program, technical/vocational college, two-year or four-year institution for the 2026-2027 academic school year.
Vincent L. Petro Memorial Scholarship
$750, non-renewable | 2026 Application deadline 3/31/26
Scholarship for a graduating senior from Mentor High School. Applicant must reside in Lake County, have a minimum 2.5 GPA, and must be enrolled full-time in a two- or four-year accredited institution or an accredited vocational/technical school.
WRJSL Scholarship
One or more award(s) not totaling more than $1,000 | 2026 Application deadline TBA
Scholarship for adult females who reside in Lake, Geauga, or Ashtabula County. Must be a U.S. Citizen, out of high school for at least two years, experienced an interruption in post-high school education, enrolled in an accredited institution for the next term at least part-time, working toward an associate or bachelor’s degree, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and demonstrate financial need. Current and former members of the WRJSL are welcome to apply.
Willis E. Kelly Music Scholarship
$2,500, renewable (multiple available) | 2026 Application deadline 3/31/26
Scholarships for students who have resided in Geauga County for a minimum of two years and attended a Geauga County school (at any grade level) for a minimum of two years. Applicant must be attending an accredited two- or four- year college/university, and must have a minimum 2.0 GPA. Applicant must demonstrate commitment to the pursuit of a musical education, financial need, evidence of significant leadership potential, and willingness to contribute time and talent to the community.
