Scholarships for two students graduating from a Lake, Geauga, Portage, or Cuyahoga County High School planning to major in one of the following courses of study: Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Software Development/Design. Applicant must be attending a 4-year college/university in the State of Ohio with a preference given to applicants attending the University of Akron, University of Cincinnati, Cleveland State University, Youngstown State University, University of Toledo, Case Western Reserve University, or The Ohio State University.

Qualifications:

Applicant must:
1. Be planning to major in one of the following courses of study: Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Software Development/Design.

2. Be a US citizen or eligible noncitizen

3. Be graduating from a Lake, Geauga, Portage, or Cuyahoga County High School.

4. Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (weighted).

5. Be attending a 4-year college/university in the State of Ohio with a preference given to applicants attending the University of Akron, University of Cincinnati, Cleveland State University, Youngstown State University, University of Toledo, Case Western Reserve University, or The Ohio State University.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: (1) Financial Aid Award Letter from College, (2) SAI from FAFSA 25, (3) Official High School Transcript, (4) Letter of Recommendation, (5) Evidence of involvement in community and school-based activities and service, (6) Leadership roles, (7) College ID Number, and (8) Essay.
