Eastern Lake County Chamber of Commerce (ELCCC)

Scholarship for a graduating senior from Mentor High School who resides in Lake County and is enrolled full-time in a 2- or 4- year accredited institution or an accredited vocational/technical school. Minimum G.P.A: 2.5.

Qualifications:

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Must be a graduating senior from Mentor High School

2. Must reside in Lake County

3. Must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5

4. Must be enrolled full-time in a 2 or 4 year accredited institution or an accredited vocational/technical school.

SELECTION CRITERIA:  Qualified candidates will be judged on:
1. Evidence of involvement in community and school based activities and service
2. Essay response

DOCUMENTATION: (1) Application, (2) Copy of Student Aid Report, all pages, (from the FAFSA), including the page listing the
SAI, (3) Two letters of recommendation, one from a teacher and one from a community member who is not a relative, and (4) An official transcript.

DEADLINE:  The application and all documents must be received in our office not later than Friday, March 28, 2025. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered. Materials can be emailed to admin@leaf-ohio.org.
