Friends of Euclid Creek

Scholarship for a college or high school student pursuing a degree or certificate in environmental scientific studies, or environmental field related to watershed health. (There may be a second $1,000 scholarship awarded to another deserving student with Board of Director approval.) Applicant evaluation is based on background and potential to contribute to environmental sustainability.

The Friends of Euclid Creek (FOEC) is a grassroots, non-profit organization advocating for the health of the Euclid Creek watershed.

Qualifications:

Applicant evaluation is based on background and potential to contribute to environmental sustainability. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
– Realizes the importance of and pursues S.T.E.M.
– Is highly motivated by their chosen subject
– Works well with others
– Is a self-starter
– Has or would volunteer in environmental activities even if no jobs were available
– Has considered the career opportunities to contribute to environmental recovery
– Has experience in the field being pursued (has already worked in the chosen field)
