Friends of Euclid Creek

Award for a college or high school student pursuing a degree or certificate in environmental scientific studies, or environmental field related to watershed health. (There may be a second $1,000 scholarship awarded to another deserving student with Board of Director approval.) Applicant evaluation is based on background and potential to contribute to environmental sustainability.

Qualifications:

Applicant evaluation is based on background and potential to contribute to environmental sustainability. The ideal candidate will possess the following:
– Realizes the importance of and pursues S.T.E.M.
– Is highly motivated by their chosen subject
– Works well with others
– Is a self-starter
– Has or would volunteer in environmental activities even if no jobs were available
– Has considered the career opportunities to contribute to environmental recovery
– Has experience in the field being pursued (has already worked in the chosen field)
