Lebanese Syrian American Junior League

Scholarships awarded to graduating high school or undergraduate college students of Lebanese or Syrian descent living in the Greater Cleveland area.

Qualifications:

Applicant must:
– Be of Lebanese/Syrian descent
▪ Be a graduating senior from a Greater Cleveland area High School or a student within the first four academic years of an undergraduate degree

GUIDELINES
– Academic excellence (must have at least “B” average)
– Quality of program pursued (honor courses, advanced courses or vocational programs)
– Student’s grade point average
– Recommendation letters (two requested) and autobiography
– Test scores (PSAT, SAT, ACT) – optional w/ change in college requirements (for entering Freshmen only)
– Extracurricular (outside activities or employment)
– Services to Church and Community
– For current college students entering 2nd-4th year of undergraduate studies: Financial need – free application for student aid (FAFSA) or Student Aid Report (SAR)
