Perryman Family Foundation 18-Month and 2-Year Nursing Program Scholarship
Students must plan to enroll in, or be accepted to, one of the following full-time nursing programs: (1) LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) / LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse), (2) ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing), or (3) RN (Registered Nurse – 18-24 month programs).
To be eligible for a scholarship, you must:
– Be a U.S. citizen.
– Be a current or prospective undergraduate student pursuing a full-time, 18-month, or two-year program in an eligible program of study.
– Not be affiliated with the Perryman Company or Perryman Family Foundation through board service, current employment, or close relatives.
– Currently live in one of these eligible counties (see listing on scholarship website) located in Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, Northern West Virginia, Northern Virginia, Western Maryland, or Chautauqua County, New York.
The following are preferred, but NOT required:
– Attend, or plan to attend, a program, college, or university located in one of the eligible counties listed above.
– Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 for a four-year program, or 2.5 for an 18-month or two-year program.
– Have completed no more than five years of undergraduate studies.
– Provide a high school diploma or similar credential, such as a GED or a federally approved “Ability to Benefit” Test.
