Perryman Family Foundation Trade School Scholarship

APPLICATION WILL OPEN FEB. 1, 2026. Scholarship for students who plan to enroll in, or have been accepted to, a full-time trade school or program with a direct connection to the practical use of Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics who currently live in one of these eligible counties located in Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, Northern West Virginia, Northern Virginia, Western Maryland, or Chautauqua County, New York. (Eligible counties are listed on the scholarship website and include Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, & Portage.)
Qualifications:

To be eligible for a scholarship, you must:
– Be a U.S. citizen.
– Be a current or prospective student pursuing a full-time program in an eligible program of study. (See scholarship website for program list.)
– Not be affiliated with the Perryman Company or Perryman Family Foundation through board service, current employment, or close relatives.
– Currently live in one of these eligible counties located in Western Pennsylvania, Eastern Ohio, Northern West Virginia, Northern Virginia, Western Maryland, or Chautauqua County, New York.

The following are preferred, but NOT required:
– Attend, or plan to attend, a trade school or program located in one of the eligible counties listed above.
– Have completed no more than five years of undergraduate studies.
– Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 (for high school graduates)
– Provide a high school diploma or similar credential, such as a GED or a federally approved “Ability to Benefit” Test.

Award Amount:
Typically between $2,000-$5,000 per year
