Scholarship for a New Generation

The John Sullivan Wilson Family Fund of the Cleveland Foundation
Renewable, need-based scholarship for outstanding graduating high school seniors in Northeast Ohio who are immigrants or first-generation U.S. citizens entering a four-year accredited college or university.
Qualifications:

Applicant must:
– Be a be graduating senior from Northeast Ohio

– Be a first-generation United States citizen (the child of immigrants or an immigrant who has become a citizen)

– Have a cumulative weighted GPA of at least a 2.5

– Have a minimum ACT composite score of 18 or combined verbal and math SAT score of 960

– File the 2025-2026 FAFSA

– Qualify for the Federal Pell Grant

– Show ambition by being responsive and turning in required documents by the deadline

If selected, their essay will be published on website and/or social media platform and student will need to maintain communication with the donor
